CARE Connect Program

Voices of Brain Injury CARE Connect Program aims to provide a safe and
inclusive space for those in the brain injury community to build meaningful one-
on-one relationships with a volunteer through conversation and activities
About the Program:

Meet one-on-one with a volunteer and engage in conversations and activities tailored to your mutual interests

Get support in learning or practicing skills you want to build (i.e. tech skills, applying to jobs)

Share your perspectives and experiences in an open and welcoming spac

The Format:

Volunteers and participants will be paired based on mutual interests for a period of 6 months (or less, depending on your wants and needs)

You choose how frequently you want to meet, once a week or less!

You choose how long the sessions will last, 1 hour or less!

Volunteer-led meetings (approximately 1 hour long) using an online video platform

The sessions will be primarily activity-based and conversation-driven, with prompts to guide discussion according to the participant’s interests

Requests for specific activities and topics are welcomed and encouraged
