Peer-led Support Group
About us:
• The Voices of Brain Injury Support Group aims to provide a safe and inclusive space for those in the brain injury community to connect with others and share your recovery journey
• Meet with and support other individuals with similar injuries and symptoms
• Share your experience and learn from other individual’s journeys
• Please note that the support group is open to brain injury survivors only; if you are a caregiver or family member in need of support, please reach out and we will share resources with you!
The format:
• Peer-led monthly meetings (approximately 1 hour long) using an online video platform
• An online support chat channel to share resources and connect with others in the community
• The sessions will be largely discussion based with questions to guide conservations
• If interested, we will introduce guest speakers and presentations from our volunteers and others in the community
• We offer great flexibility; you can come to one session, leave part way, or attend sessions regularly!
Schedule: Third Monday of every month at 6:00pm EST.
